Most pool apps tell you what your water is. Pool Predictor Pro tells you what it's about to do, days ahead and with a confidence range, using your local weather and your pool's own measured behaviour.
Genuinely predictive chemistry modelling that adapts to your pool and its environment.
Simulates your entire water chemistry days ahead with confidence ranges, not just today's numbers. You get two milestones: a nudge to test, and the day a level is expected to leave range.
Pulls local UV, temperature, humidity, wind and rainfall to model sun-driven chlorine loss, evaporation and rain dilution. Your forecast reflects your actual sky.
Calibrates to your pool's real chlorine-loss rate, pH rise, alkalinity trend and calcium creep from your own history, subtracting anything you logged as a treatment so doses are never mistaken for drift.
Use the phone you already own for readings and precise dosing. No floating sensors, no subscription pods.
Line your kit's printed color scale up with the guide on screen and put the sample in the box beside it. The app compares the two colors in the same photo, so a shadow or a warm light bulb affects both alike, and suggests the matching reading.
It fills in the number for you to check before you save the test. Even daylight and no glare give the best match.
Models solar, safety and automatic covers and how each changes chlorine loss, evaporation, pH, debris load and heat, scaled by how often yours is actually closed.
Turns "out of range" into a specific dose in real units, using the products you actually own. For example, "add about 1.2 qt of muriatic acid to bring pH to 7.5", sized to your pool's volume.
Built for homeowners and service professionals alike.
Set your cell's output percentage and the forecast models its generation day by day against real demand. Project what a change does at +1, +3 and +7 days before you commit.
Dial in pump runtime and speed to hit your ideal daily turnover, with flow estimated from your pump's real performance curve. Especially useful for variable-speed pumps.
Your Langelier Saturation Index, calculated instantly and labelled balanced, corrosive or scaling, then which parameter is driving it and how to bring it back.
Green, cloudy or smelly water usually needs a SLAM (Shock Level And Maintain), the method pool experts use to clear algae for good. It works, but it's easy to get wrong: the chlorine level depends on your stabilizer, it has to be held for days, and it only ends when three checks pass. Pool Predictor Pro walks you through every step.
Sets your target chlorine from your stabilizer (CYA) and checks you're ready before you start: the right test kit, pH in range, salt cell and tabs off, and the pump running around the clock.
After each test it tells you how much liquid chlorine brings you back to the target, and when you can test again. Each dose goes straight into your treatment log.
Tracks the three checks that end a SLAM: combined chlorine, the overnight chlorine loss test, and crystal-clear water. It also handles the extra hold that yellow mustard algae needs.
While a SLAM is running, the app knows the high chlorine is on purpose. It stops warning you about it, and it leaves those days out when it learns how your pool normally behaves, so your forecasts stay accurate afterwards.
One pool, two water tests and two treatment logs. Enough to set up your pool, log a real test and see an actual forecast, with the full engine and charts rather than a stripped-down preview.
The one thing two tests can’t do is teach the model how fast your pool actually drifts. That comes from comparing several tests over time. Until then it uses industry-standard rates, so the prediction band stays wider than it would be and the confidence score can’t reach its top range.
No credit card. Just a validated email and password.
It's a trial, and we'd rather be straight about it: once you've used those two tests, continuing means upgrading.
Unlimited water tests and treatment logs, up to two pools, and cloud sync so your history follows you to a new phone.
Enough history for the model to calibrate to your pool: tighter prediction bands and a higher confidence score than the free tier can reach.
Billed annually through Google Play. Cancel any time in the Play Store.
No. Any kit or strips work, so enter the numbers you have. Accuracy tightens with more precise kits, and the app accounts for which one you use.
No. The free tier needs only a validated email address and password, and you only reach a payment screen if you choose to upgrade. To be clear about what "free" covers: one pool, two water tests and two treatment logs. You get the full forecast engine, but a limited number of entries, and not enough history for the model to calibrate to your own pool.
Yes. Once signed in, your data lives on your device and the app keeps working offline. Without a connection, forecasts fall back to a seasonal estimate for your area.
No. Pool Predictor Pro works from your test kit and your phone. There is no hardware to buy and nothing to replace each season.
Any time, in the Play Store under Payments & subscriptions. See our terms for the detail.
Not yet. The app currently uses US units (gallons, °F) and US ZIP codes for weather. Metric units and postal-code lookup for other countries are both being built. See the roadmap.
